Epitaph for the Biswick

I was sitting around the other day wondering if Ronald Reagan was dead. I couldn't remember and was frustrated that my 72 year old brain wasn't hitting on all 8 cylinders.

Ronald Reagan was a big movie star in my day. He had all the girls swooning and wanting to spark him. Later, he became the President of the good old U S of A and was President just ten years ago. Still I couldn't remember if he was dead.

It seems that that little fellow with the wig had it right when he said that in the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes. I imagine that my fifteen minutes of fame will come well after my death because I've done nothing so far in this lifetime to make me famous.

I'll never be as famous as President Reagan. After my fifteen minutes of fame are up I can't expect that people will remember if I'm dead or not. I only hope that, whether they think I'm dead or not, people will say, "Sherman T. Biswick was a good man who loved pumpkin pie."

editor's note: "Ole Sherm", as we call him to his face, or "The Biswick", as we call him behind it, doesn't have email, and thinks computers are taking away jobs from nice American undereducated laborers. He can be reached via ham radio, but we're not quite sure how that works.
